This is one of the most important filming points in Tuscany. From here, one of the most canonical views of Val d’Orcia opens. The point works at sunset, but the best shots are obtained at dawn and in blue houres. I recommend arriving 1 hour before dawn in order to manage to take shots with burning lanterns on the estates. No filters are needed. The best focal length range is 100-400mm. From this point you can take beautiful panoramas. You can move along the street in search of different angles and places where trees least of all block the picture. The rays of the sun first appear on the background, then on the left side of the landscapes gradually begin to consecrate to the right. Since the whole shooting takes place at long and ultra-long focal lengths and slow shutter speeds (early in the morning), I strongly recommend having a trigger cable to avoid blurring due to camera shake. You must also have a good tripod.
